Chamber music with a difference

The Miscellany Ensemble was formed in 2004 by Kathryn Moorhead and Megan Reeve. Each concert series aims to incorporate a variety of freelance musicians performing a wide range of works. There really is something for everyone at our concerts!

Performances by the Miscellany Ensemble occur all over Melbourne from the city to the suburbs, as well as in select regional centres.

The recent CD release ‘Quiet Place’ by the Miscellany Ensemble and composer Andrew Blyth has been featured on 3MBS and ABC FM- ‘Performances are excellent’ Peter Larsen , Libretto Magazine April/May 08

Concert / Harp Society of Victoria
Thursday 18 June, at 7.30pm

The Harp Society of Victoria promotes the harp as a versatile and diverse instrument adaptable to a broad range of musical genres. We organise many activities and events such as student concerts, conferences, workshops and recitals by local, interstate and international players. Our concert for the evening will feature performances of works by Bach, Debussy, Handel, Hasselmans, Ibert, Poenitz, Salzedo and Tournier. Four of our members will be playing their pedal harps - Frances Thiele, Amanda Miller, Kristina Johnson and Megan Reeve. Megan will be performing with her chamber group featuring flautist Kathryn Moorhead and mezzo-soprano Sarah Cole.
